About WMC

Wilmot Muslim Centre is a mosque and spiritual sanctuary dedicated to the worship of Allah (SWT) and the service of the Muslim community in the Waterloo Region. Our centre is a place of prayer, learning, and community engagement, ensuring that all activities align with the Qur'an, Sunnah, and Islamic teachings.

At its core, Wilmot Muslim Centre is a house of worship—a sacred space where Muslims gather for the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, and Eid congregations. Our centre serves as a guiding force for spiritual growth, offering religious education, Quranic studies, and programs that deepen the connection between individuals and their faith. Beyond prayer, we are committed to fostering unity, inclusivity, and a strong sense of brotherhood and sisterhood within our congregation.

Governed with transparency and accountability, Wilmot Muslim Centre operates under a structured leadership framework that includes a Board of Directors, an Executive Committee, an Advisory Board, and a Women’s Committee, each playing a role in the administration, religious programming, and community outreach of the centre. The General Assembly, composed of our active members, ensures that the congregation's voice is reflected in major decisions regarding the centre’s future.

Rooted in Islamic values, the Wilmot Muslim Centre is dedicated to being a place of worship, spiritual growth, and community gathering. We aim to foster a strong and united congregation, uphold Islamic teachings, and provide a sacred space for prayer, learning, and religious guidance. Our vision is to grow into a thriving mosque that serves as a cornerstone of faith and knowledge, preserving Islamic traditions for generations.
